MERSING CONCERETE SDN BHD was established on 26th November 1996 under one of the subsidiary of BKS MAJU SDN BHD, founded by DATO’ SRI BALAKRISHNAN, Group CEO of BKS GROUP. With 24 years of know-how in the industry, Mersing Concrete plant is operating with 8 mixer trucks and has expanded to an additional of 9 batching plants located across the nation.
His son, Mr. B Navinra Balakrishnan joined on 2015 as our Group Managing Director who brings successful transformation from manual batching system to auto batching system to all Mersing Concrete plants. Under his wing, Mersing Concrete became an ISO-certified company. Our ready-mixed concrete business covers industries such as construction, builders and contribute to development for private and government sector. Till this day, our quarry, sand products and machineries ensure that we give our best to provide the highest quality & strength assurance to our customers.

Our Preface
Mersing Concrete Sdn Bhd under BKS Group, was first incorporated in 1996 It was started up by my father with his partner and at the time it had about 6 to 7 plants Now, we are amid of expanding and we will have more than 13 plants and will only grow from here.
We also assist our customers beyond the initial sales transaction as some of the customers will approach us with issues after purchase like cracks on the concrete. We offer help and advise with the engineering and workmanship aspects of the constructions. To allow us to lend a hand to our customers, we continually improve our quality management system; certified ISO 9001, making sure that we are buying products from other quarries and other suppliers to guarantee the quality of incoming products and raw materials meet customers’ and regulatory requirements.
We consist of a lot of young and passionate team, and we are aggressive. While other concrete plants are closing, we are expanding our footprints. This is only possible because we have such a great team on board. Our ‘out of the box’ thinking have led us to be the first in the nation to offer our products on one of the biggest e-commerce platform with much positive feedback. For Malaysian concrete industry, while most companies are still doing things in the traditional way, we went through a transformation of automizing our batching system as it ensures the quality of our concrete. Newer, bigger and better trucks replaced the old trucks to improve customer satisfaction for faster delivery. To guarantee the quality of our products, we performed tests in our lab for all of our batches. Our lab is not just for testing, but our R&D team is helping the company to maintain its competitiveness.
